Our VW van is a 1969 Bay Window Camper. It has been refurbished to a high standard over the past few years.The van had new brakes 2 years ago and a re-conditioned engine fitted this year.The van also had a new starter-motor and fan belt fitted 2 years ago. It has had a new battery fitted recently with a 3 year guarantee along with a new leisure battery last year.

The interior has been renovated to a high standard. It has a full-width rock’n'roll bed, ample cupboard space, a fridge, double hob, and a sink with a fresh water tank. The curtains have been relpaced to black out quality and are a simple polka dot design. The floor is rubberized, great for cleaning up after sandy, wet feet! There is a hinged raised roof accommodating two hammock beds suitable for children/teenagers.

The front seats were imported from the States and are extra wide making them very comfortable, the passenger seat turns around to face into to van when stationary. It has been renovated to be the most practical it can be for camping, and comes with a complementary Space Saver large awning and electric hook up. There is a table that can be put up and taken down in a matter of minutes. There is an excellent digital radio/cd player with an MP3 connector.

The van requires some body work to side door, sills and wheels hence the price.

The van is tax-exempt and has an MOT until the end of April 2012 This is a great van, must be seen…. OFFERS ACCEPTED.
